Life is all about balance: A little meditation here, a little mezcal there. And this week’s roundup of workouts, events and eats to make your week the best it can be includes both of those, plus a totally dreamy sounding group hike (complete with a sound bath!), a group fun run with adoptable dogs, and more. Yep: It’s going to be a good week.
Monday
Get your mind right for the week: At our East Market location, you’ll find a 30-minute meditation class on the schedule at 7:15 p.m. Adios, manic Mondays. Do it.

Tuesday
Tea time! ‘Tis the season for drinking warming mugs of tea in your coziest chair, good book in hand. And Voloshin and Terra Luna Herbals are teaming up for an event that will teach you how to make your very own herbal tea blends—and send you home with the goods to get started. Do it.
Wednesday
Bake now, thank yourself later. It’s pumpkin-bread season, and this recipe from Ambitious Kitchen uses an entire can of pumpkin puree, so you know it’s good. Do it.

Thursday
Start weaning yourself off of your snooze button. If you’ve pressed snooze approximately 31 times this week (we relate), let it be known: The snooze button does your sleep no good, according to experts. So, harsh suggestion: Stop using it. Do it.

Take your happy hour higher! El Techo, the much-anticipated rooftop bar (complete with a fancy retractable roof!) from the folks behind Suraya and El Condesa, just opened. Do it.

Hike with new friends! Hike + Heal, a local ladies-only hiking initiative (sorry, dudes), will be taking to Fairmount Park for a free hike ending with a glorious sound bath surrounded by trees. Work-week stress, be gone. Do it.

Run for a good cause! The Monster Milers, a local running group that runs with shelter dogs to get them moving and, in the long run, increase their chances of adoption, will meet at Philadelphia Runner at 10:30 a.m. for a three-mile fun run with an adoptable pup. All dog lovers welcome! Do it.
